2.1.L4E runs an online portal that allows the participant to register, and/or to book events (congresses, fairs, sports competitions or similar events – herinafter called „event“). In the context of a participation at an event, it is also possible, depending on the offer, to book hotel accommodations online or be provided with additional services. For this, L4E provides server capacities, and the necessary software registration4events (herinafter called „r4e“).

A contract about the services provided is only made between you and the respective organiser. The organiser may use additional terms and conditions about which you will be informed before concluding a booking process.
3.1.In order to make use of the services, a registration through r4e is required. You will have to enter your required personal details. L4E processes this data in accordance with current data protection laws as well as the contents of the privacy policy published by L4E on r4e. For a secure process, please choose your password yourself. You are responsible for not disclosing your password in order to avoid abuse.
3.2.The information required by the organiser of the respective event for registration are listed in the input mask. What information is necessary is dictated by exclusively by the organiser responsible for its validity and regularity. L4E has no influence in this context.
3.3.For your registration as an event participant, conditions (such as professional qualifications, dates, prices, etc.) displayed during the respective registration process apply. With your registration, you are making a binding offer by clicking on „Finalize Booking“, and then „Confirm Booking“. All inputs you made will be displayed to you once again in a confirmation window and can be rectified, if necessary, within their respective dialogues or with the common keyboard and mouse functionality. L4E transmits your registration application and other needs to the respective organiser. It is required that you have accepted the terms and conditions.
3.4.Payment works through a so-called payment gateway provided by a third party service provider. L4E forwards you to the respective portal of the payment gateway. The participant will not receive a confirmation of the transaction from the third party service provider. Online payments will appear on your credit card statement as logistics4events.
3.5.A contract for registration is only concluded after payment of the respective admission fee, as well as express approval by the organiser. The approval will be given through the organiser's registration confirmation that may also be sent on behalf of the organiser by L4E.

The participant may deactivate these feature in his personal profile in case they are activated during the event.

Liability, in this case, is limited to the damages that L4E could reasonably foresee in the context of the known conditions at conclusion of the contract.
5.4.L4E is not liable for delays or impossibility, should those be caused only by slight negligence, or by force majeure or other conditions that are not under the control of L4E. Otherwise liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable damages.
